Mutatá Build Community Center

Project Description

Mutatá Build will provide a new headquarters for the business operations of the sustainable farming cooperative, Cooemprender, after the peaceful farming community in northwest Colombia was forcibly displaced by violence.  After successfully developing their previous community in Ituango, Columbia, the community was plagued by the militia violence and forced to relocate relying on temporary structures constructed of plastic tarpaulin.  The new headquarters design will meet the needs and desires of Cooemprender and its staff members with an enclosed office space and covered open area under the steel frame designed and provided by Bay-Build.
