Hotel Triton

Project Description

At the gateway to San Francisco’s historic Chinatown, Hotel Triton completed a major renovation for the lobby, guestroom shower conversions and accessibility upgrades.  The new lobby ceiling beams were designed with consideration for the light fixtures, proposed artwork and structural concerns of an existing historically significant building.  Upon discovery of a historic silver leaf plaster mural of San Francisco which had been concealed within one of the lobby walls, coordination was taken to restore and display a portion of the mural within an already designed millwork piece.  The renovation was completed in 2018.
